About Marcey

Marcey Mansolillo received her undergraduate degree in 1992 from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. Her concentration was in Sociology and Anthropology. During the 1990s she served as a volunteer at sexual assault centers, shelters for the homeless and survivors of domestic violence. After moving to the Seattle area in the mid 90s Marcey continued to advance her career, supporting adults with dual diagnoses of mental illness and developmental disabilities. 
In 2007, Marcey graduated from the University of Washington with a Masters Degree in Social Work. Her school practicums included work for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (Division of Developmental Disabilities), and the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center of Whatcom County. She has extensive training and experience in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. After receiving her credentials in 2010 as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Marcey began a private practice specializing in treatment for sexual assault, trauma and personality disorders.
